2009

  • Challenger Motor Freight wins US EPA SmartWay Environmental Excellence Award for reducing emissions, increasing fuel economy and improving the environment.
  • 2009 Shipper's Choice Award for surpassing a benchmark of excellence set by more than 1,600 buyers of TL transportation services across Canada.
  • Challenger awarded the Idle-Free Certificate of Recognition by the Niagara Parks Commission for achieving high fuel efficiency and reducing unnecessary idling.
  • 2009 Diageo Johnnie Walker Gold was awarded to Challenger for overall transportation excellence.
  • 2009 Diageo Johnnie Walker Green, a new award representing environmental excellence.

2008

  • 2008 Coors Gold Supplier Award, presented to Challenger, is for suppliers who exemplify a commitment to service, quality, cost, innovation, minority spend and who continually demonstrate the passion and integrity required to maintain a valued partnership.

2007

  • Diageo Carrier of the Year Award presented for attaining the highest overall score in four key metrics, with points being awarded for performance in on-time pickup, on-time delivery, load tender acceptance % and EDI compliance.
  • Challenger Motor Freight becomes a Platinum Club member after being named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies for the 7th consecutive year.
  • Challenger Motor Freight is recognized as Best FAST Carrier Performance 2007 by General Motors. Out of 18,288 shipments we were 98% plus through the FAST lane.
  • Waterloo Region Entrepreneur Hall of Fame 2007 recently inducted Dan Einwechter, Chairman & CEO, into it’s honoured ranks. This award celebrates and showcases inspirational entrepreneurs who embody the entrepreneurial spirit in our region, and inspire that spirit in others.
  • Challenger listed as one of the Top 100 Motor Carriers 2007, in Inbound Logistics magazine
  • OTR/SelecTrucks of Canada Canadian Retention Award in the 100 Power Units or More category. The award recognizes the Canadian carrier who best demonstrates, overall, the lowest driver turnover rate, the most improved driver turnover rate and the best effort to improve driver retention over a number of years.
  • Enviro Award: Presented to Challenger by the OTA (Ontario Trucking Association) in recognition of environmental stewardship for being one of the first trucking companies in Ontario to incorporate the 2007 model year "smog free" truck into its fleet
