Document Management

MCX’s document management system greatly improves internal work flows. Documents are forwarded electronically throughout the company and processed almost immediately.

All paperwork associated with a particular order or trip is scanned, indexed to the order number, unit, customer and driver and stored in a central database. These multiple indexes greatly increase document retrieval processes for our customers.  From any branch or department, any MCX employee can retrieve an image of the document and email or fax it to the customer. Customers can also retrieve a bill of lading, proof of delivery or a copy of an invoice when logged onto MCX's secure Internet Online Tracking system.

This system is just one more way Motor City Express keeps their customers informed with accurate and timely information.
